Rappelling: Fundamentals

Rappelling is often called the most dangerous part of climbing—but it does’t have to be. Learn to rappel from beginning to end efficiently, confidently, and safely with best practices for this core climbing skill and lots of hands-on practice time in a variety of terrain. In this introductory class, you’ll learn step-by-step how to set up and rig a safe rappel on your own, as well as improve team safety and prevent problems before they happen.
