Plan less, climb more! Escape the city and join us for a full day of climbing at Seneca Rocks, WV - one of the most-storied crags on the East Coast.

A unique formation of quartzite that rises a thousand feet above the North Fork Valley floor, Seneca Rocks has been an East Cost hub for trad climbing for over 80 years. Our climbing day will include multi-pitch trad climbing with certified guides, tailored to the experience and stoke levels of each climber!..

  • All trips are staffed with AMGA-certified and wilderness first responder instructors.

  • Transportation to/from DC area to Seneca Rocks is INCLUDED

Itinerary:

6:00am - pick up at Rockville Metro

6:30am - pick up at Vienna Metro

9:30am - arrival in Seneca Rocks

4:00pm - group dinner at The Front Porch (dinner not included)

8:00pm - drop off at Vienna Metro

8:30pm - drop off at Rockville Metro

    Trad climbing and rappelling instruction with certified guides

    Footwork and movement skills for real rock

    Tactics and strategy for outdoor climbing, including pacing and finding rests

    Multipitch technical skills including belay transitions and rappelling
