$195 | Great Falls, VA | Basic top and bottom-managed self-rescue skills (rope ascension, weighted belay takeovers, and climber pickoffs) required
Be prepared for anything. While Self-Rescue I and II focus on core top-and bottom-managed skills in single pitch settings, Self Rescue III focuses on the more complex systems and higher stakes of rescue in a multi-pitch setting. From risk management, to safely managing weighted transitions with friction hitches, to counterbalance and tandem rappels, to securely transitioning at mid-climb anchors, this intensive is ideal for advanced climbers looking to increase their toolkit of techniques for getting home safe.
