Self-Rescue: Fundamentals

A great day at the crag can go wrong in an instant. Do you have the technical skills and assessment framework to manage a challenging situation and get everyone back to ground safely? In this full day of hands-on learning and practice appropriate for every outdoor climber, you’ll develop core skills to solve the most common problems that arise in single-pitch climbing.
This class focuses on managing rescue from the bottom up in single pitch settings. Ready for a deep dive? Add Self Rescue II (Top-Down Rescue) and Self Rescue III (Multipitch Rescue)
