Seneca Rocks, WV
Plan less, climb more! Escape the city and join us for an immersive weekend building skills, confidence, and community at Seneca Rocks, WV - one of the most-storied crags on the East Coast. With plenty of climbing time, hiking, exploration, and more, this retreat, offered together with Seneca Rocks Climbing School, is a one-of-a kind opportunity for women who love climbing to connect with the outdoors.
Seneca Rocks, a unique formation of quartzite that rises a thousand feet above the North Fork Valley floor, has been an East Cost hub for trad climbing for over 80 years. Our climbing days will include both single-pitch top rope and multi-pitch climbing with certified guides as well as trad climbing and self-rescue instruction—as well as a summit bid for every climber.
Activities also include hiking to the summit of the North Peak, an optional visit to the local swimming hole, morning mobility sessions, and more.
All retreats are staffed with AMGA-certified and first-aid trained instructors.
